The Bite-Me Security StoryAs with many businesses, Bite-Me Security grew out of a need. Co-Owners Bob and Sue Casey were helping out a friend who wanted to ward off local troublemakers; but couldn't afford a home alarm system. Using Sue's clever wit and Bob's woodworking skills, the couple teamed up to create a yard sign using an image of the friend's pet that warned potential intruders and others up to no good; while giving friends and neighbors a chuckle. Word quickly spread about the funny warning sign and soon orders began pouring in from other friends and neighbors. In 2000, Bob and Sue soon branched out and began selling their popular wood plaques at craft fairs throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. They are proud of the fact that their plaques are on display in homes all around the world. With the launch of this e-commerce website, more people than ever before will be able to enjoy their unique line of hilarious warning signs - each of which is still carefully made by hand in Bob's woodworking shop and finished to perfection with the help of his business partner and wife of 31 years, Sue.
